Solar shading · Window shutters
Control the light.
Shape the façade.
Window shutters protect against the sun, weather and prying eyes – while also transforming a home's architecture. PLANIGRAPH plans the right solution with EHRET: classic, modern, colourful or deliberately understated.
PLANIGRAPH + EHRET
More than solar shading.
A window shutter is part of the façade – so choosing one starts with the house, not a model name.
EHRET offers over 400 models with different opening mechanisms and infill options. From this extensive range, we find the solution that suits your building architecturally, technically and in everyday use.

Three opening mechanisms
Swing. Slide. Fold.
The opening mechanism determines the appearance of the façade, the space required and how the shutters are operated. Each option therefore has its own distinct imagery.

From classic to modern
Hinged shutters
Side-hinged, deliberately visible and closely integrated with the façade.

Planar & architectural
Sliding shutters
Ideal for uncluttered façades, large windows and modern, understated lines.

Compact folding
Sliding folding shutters
Multi-section panels fold together at the side, requiring very little space to open.
Architecture & inspiration
Shutters can be understated. Or make a statement.
The house should be the first thing you notice, not the technology. Colour, surface, louvre pattern and whether the shutters are open or closed make a noticeable difference to the overall look.

Infill options & light
How open should the shutter look?
Louvres let light and air through differently from solid panels. Special infill panels can give the façade an even more individual look.
Adjustable louvres
Light and privacy can be adjusted continuously.
Fixed louvres
A clean look with a permanently fixed louvre angle.
Solid-panel models
More solid surface, a calmer look and greater protection from prying eyes and the weather.
Special infill panels
For sliding and folding sliding shutters, for example, expanded metal, real wood or fabric.

Convenience & automation
Window shutters at the touch of a button.
Motorised window shutters can be conveniently operated by remote control, wall switch or app. When combined with a suitable control system, opening and closing can also be automated according to the time of day, the position of the sun or the temperature.
Hinged shutters
EHRET offers drives for these, including VOLETRONIC io, VOLETRONIC Solar and E-motion.
Smart Home
VOLETRONIC io uses Somfy io-homecontrol and can provide feedback on the shutter’s position.
Sliding & folding sliding shutters
We assess motorisation options for each project based on the manufacturer’s latest specifications.
Colours & finishes
Give your façade character.
EHRET offers more than 4,000 colour shades. This allows window shutters to blend seamlessly into the façade – or create precisely the contrast that gives a building its distinctive character.

Red
Distinctive.
A deliberate accent for light, clean-lined façades.

Blue
Individual.
Traditional and familiar, yet easy to incorporate.

Light
Understated.
For façades where form and shadow should make more of an impact than colour.

Finish
Matt & robust.
Highly weather-resistant powder coatings are designed for lasting colour and gloss stability.
40+ RAL colours
According to EHRET, popular customer colours and woodgrain finishes come in HWF Class 2 as standard.
HWF Class 2
For high colour and gloss stability and enhanced scratch resistance.
Decorative finishes
Wood, stone and other finishes create a different material effect from plain solid colours.

PLANIGRAPH planning
It only looks right when it works with the house.
Window shutters need to do more than look convincing in a brochure. What matters is the hinging, guides, wind loads, parking position, hardware and how they work with the windows, insulation and façade.
Check the space available on the building for opening and stowing the shutters
Choose the infill to suit your requirements for light, privacy and façade appearance
Coordinate the colour with the windows, render, timber or natural stone
Decide early on whether to opt for manual or motorised operation
