How is your garage door behaving?
Select the fault that best matches your situation. With garage doors, mechanical operation and safety always go hand in hand.

Door jammed or running out of alignment
Check door movement, tracks, rollers and fittings as possible causes.

Springs, rollers or hinges
Expert assessment of mechanical wear parts and safety components.

Motor or controls
Assess the opener, remote control, keypad, travel limits and teach-in cycle.

Damage or multiple doors
Systematically assess damaged door systems and larger numbers of doors.
A considered approach to repairs
A door must do more than move – it must operate safely.

Consider mechanical components, the opener and safety together.
If a door jams, the cause may lie with the rollers, hinges, springs, tracks or opener. We look at the entire system and coordinate repairs, adjustments and any necessary safety inspection.

Costs and decisions
Repair, maintenance or replacement – the technical condition comes first.
Whether an adjustment is enough, individual worn parts need replacing or a more extensive repair makes sense depends on the door type, damage, spare parts and safety. We discuss the next steps with you clearly.

Businesses and municipalities
Planned care for door systems in commercial and public buildings.
For businesses, public administrations, municipalities and other building operators, we combine repair and maintenance with an assessment of the required safety inspection for power-operated doors. We agree in advance on the systems covered, their use and access arrangements.
Repair & maintenance
Have doors checked regularly before wear leads to failure.

Maintenance involves more than just the motor.
Tracks, frames, brackets, springs, rollers, bolted connections and safety devices all work together. Regular checks help identify wear early and maintain reliable operation.
- Check tracks, frames and fixings
- Assess springs, rollers and hinges
- Check the drive, obstacle detection and safety photocell
- Consider inspection and documentation requirements for power-operated doors
Well prepared
Your questions before the service appointment.
What types of garage doors do you repair?
We assess sectional, up-and-over, side-opening and other types of garage doors. The key factors are the door type, its condition and the availability of suitable spare parts.
Can springs or track rollers be replaced individually?
If the door type and spare parts availability allow, individual mechanical components can be replaced as needed. We also assess the safe operation of the door as a whole.
Do you also repair motors, remote controls and keypads?
Yes. The drive and control components are included in the diagnosis. Depending on the system, programming and a calibration run may also be required.
When is a door inspection in accordance with ASR A1.7 relevant?
Regular safety inspections may be required for power-operated doors and gates. For installations in commercial or public use, we work with you to determine the applicable requirements.
Which photos are helpful when making an enquiry?
An overall view from inside and outside, any visible damage, the drive or its rating plate and, for mechanical problems, the affected area. Please do not work on springs or components under tension.
